Carson is One!!

Well, yesterday was Carson's first birthday. We will officially celebrate with family over the weekend but I still sang Happy Birthday to Carson several times during the day. We went to dinner with our friends Michael and Mickey and got Carson a small dish of ice cream with a candle in it. He was intrigued by the candle but cried when we blew it out b/c he didn't like the smoke in his face.

He also had his 1 year check up (and shots too but we won't talk about those!) and the doctor told us that he's on track to be a very tall boy -- still in the 97th percentile for height. His stats this time were weight: 24 lb 10 oz, height: 32.25 in.

Lake House Sign Up Link Added

I have added a link to the right for a yahoo group I have created that our friends can use to sign up for using our lake house. In order to join the group, you have to click the link and request membership to the group and Kevin and I will approve your membership. We are in the process of putting together all the information that you need to know about the lake house and locating it in that group--we expect it to be completed in the next week or so.

Carson's Walking

This week Carson decided that he wanted to take more than just one or two steps at a time. He's now walking across the room! Guess it won't be long before he is tearing up the place :)

Some updates on our move: we are getting packed up at the end of next week. We will be living out of a hotel until the end of the month when we head to Alabama. So, if you don't hear anything from us for a while, that's the reason. Especially since our family computer will be packed up! We will have my work laptop but Kevin won't have access to that while I'm a work so please bear with us if you don't get a response to a note for a while. So far, we are still on track to get on a plane to England around July 8th!

Moving

It's been a while since we posted an update but we've been a little busy. The big news here is that we are moving to England. We will be leaving Nashville around June 30th and are really excited about this opportunity.
